As we approach the start of the 227th General Assembly (2026) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I wanted to point to resources to help you and your congregation follow along, celebrate, interpret, and understand the work of the commissioners. The assembly convenes on June 22 for (mostly) online committee work, with many commissioners arriving in Milwaukee on June 26. Following a day of community activities and Sunday worship in local congregations, the full assembly will gather for a plenary meeting on Sunday, June 28. Opening Worship follows on Monday morning, with days of meetings to follow. The General Assembly will conclude on Thursday, July 2.
Once the whole assembly convenes, I will be sending out daily summaries of the day's events and insights from the conversation on the floor of the General Assembly. As you prepare to engage in the work of this General Assembly, you can find more information at the links below.
