The Synod Partnership for Disaster Recovery (SPDR) is a ministry of the Synod of the Sun dedicated to connecting, equipping, and empowering Presbyterians to witness to the healing love of Christ through caring for communities adversely affected by crises and catastrophic events.

In the Covenant Agreement of the SPDR, Presbyteries agreed to, “Recruit people for their SPDR Liaison who are passionate about and committed to disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.” There is a new opening and we seek a SPDR Liaison to the Oklahoma presbyteries.
The SPDR Liaison shall serve as the primary representative at the Presbytery level to the SPDR Director, under the supervision of the SPDR Leadership Group. SPDR Liaisons facilitate the establishment and maintenance of a Synod-wide communication network throughout the disaster cycle of preparedness, response, long-term recovery, and mitigation.
